Some new creations
I thought I would post some of my latest creations, hopefully they will inspires someone out there.
This layout was done for a CC over at Scrap of Difference, but I didn't manage to get it finished by the time it was due. It was created off a wonderful sketch by Rhonda, thank you Rhonda!!!

These two cards I made just because I wanted to play with my new Penny Black frog stamps. They are just so cute!!!! I actually am not thrilled whith these cards.. but I just LOVE the little froggies!

This last card I made using my new Stamping Up stamps and papers. Again... made just for fun.

Card Sketch Challenge
Over the next while I am hoping to post a some different challenges to help get your mojo flowing. I will do sketches, colour challenges, recipe challenges and maybe some other types of challenges. These are just for fun and not for prizes.... but I hope you have fun.

SO here we go.....
I have created a card sketch for you to have a go with... but you can adapt the sketch to do a layout if that is the way your mojo flows. Feel free to flip or rotate the sketch too.
And here is my example. I had great fun creating this example. Recently I won some blog candy over at Linda's blog..... well I won a beautiful set of stamps from Layers of Colour. I used Tim Holtz Alcohol Inks on gloss cardstock in cranberry, stonewashed and a gold mixative, so they have a metalic lustre to then. Then I stamped the wings in black ink and embossed them with Tim Holtz Distressed Embossing powder. I have to say I LOVE this powder... it gives a rough matt finish, looks worn and aged..... fantastic!!
The papers I used are from "Graphic 45", very delish papers to work with. The hear is from Heidi Swapp and is part of her invisables range. All the items in this range have been printed in white ink so that when you colour them the pattern remains white. The sentiment is hand written on cardstock. Also the scallop edge to the right is cut away from the top layer of the card so you can see the dragonfly paper that is on the inside of the card.
I hope you have fun with this sketch and would love to see what you create. If you leave me a comment with a link to your creation we will all be able to see the wonderful work that is inspired.
Happy creating
