Let's get moving!

Well you may be forgiven for thinking this blog was dead and buried...... But there is a spark of life there after all.  It has been years since I added anything of interest and life has changed a little.

I am currently working as a Preschool teacher in a local Christian school. I love my job and the children I teach.  That doesn't mean it is easy and uneventful! Each day brings new challenges.

Hopefully through this blog I will share with you both my teaching and creative moments.

A word from Princess Krissy about the event....

I want to do my bit for this great charity this year - each of us are women and know or love someone who's life has been touched by this awful disease so I think what this charity does is fab and want to help in anyway I can

I have a close friend that is a BC survivor and was by her side through all her treatments and it is an awful thing for anyone to have to go through

During October 15% of ALL kit sales will go directly to this charity, I will be running some raffles with prizes donated by me (all proceeds going to the charity) and will be running a special class in honour of this event with a special kit 

I will also be having a Girls day in /weekend at my house so if you are local and would like to attend please let me know

Our CC will also be based around this event so we will be doing lots to try to help

Well here it is....... my first ever DT collection made with a Wicked Princesses Kit!!!  The kit is called "Time Piece" and is filled with delicious Bo Bunny papers and co-ordinating embelishments, trims, stickers and flowers!

I'm a Princess!

Well it is official ....... I am a Princess....a Wicked Designer Princess!!! Yep that is right I have been accepted in the Wicked Princess Design Team! Very exciting!!! And this week I will reveal my first set of creations for the team with my new WP Kit!!! So hop on over to Wicked Princesses to check it all out.

I am sorry I haven't been here for a while, I have been busy with work and study, but thought I would pop in quickly to see you all.  How is everyone?

I have been able to do a little bit of scrapping and card making lately but not a lot.  Here is a littl eof what I have been doing.

I have also been playing around with my camera too....... I went down to an old property near me with a friend and we have great fun taking alsorts of photos.   Here are a few.

Just a quick post.....

Here are just a couple of recent layouts I created.

This first one is created with Bo Bunny and Core'ordinations. I have to say I am very happy with this colour combo. I have also used one of the beautiful "my Vintage Blossoms" you can get them here.



This second layout used some very yummy papers from Echo Park and Kaisercraft. Apart from that I don't have much to say. Thanks for dropping by.

Long time no chat....

Well it has been a long time since I blogged anything and unfortunately this will just be a quick one too. Just want to show you my latest creations.

I have created 2 layouts using the Basic Grey "marjolaine" range. I love the colours in these papers, they were so easy to use. Both of these layouts were created using sketches created by the wonderful Krissy Christie. I have also used some of her beautiful "My Vintage Blossoms".




This necklace was created as a Christmas gift for a friend! Really happy with it, might have to make some more.

Christmas before the New Year!!

Well I thought I had better publish this layout before the end of the year. I just love these photos...... taken 5 years apart it is clear to see then growing up!.



This layout uses a large square doily that has been given the glimmer mist treatment. Basic Grey papers and buttons and a beautiful "ribbon" vine. The key is by Kaiser and comes with little resin stickers so you can add your own touch to it. This was a pretty quick layout but I have to say I am very happy with it.

You know what it is like you are relaxing on a Saturday morning and you hear the cry......"MUM I NEED A CARD!" So off to your stash you trot, but alas they just wont do...... so you have to create!!!

Here are 2 very quick cards I threw together when I got an urgent cry......

This first card is made using Kaisercraft papers and rubons. I think it only took a few minutes to create.



This card was created by using a pre-embossed card front which I inked and added a few patterned paper squares and the most gorgeous digi image from BUGABOO
